Pay Input Module

The Paydata.NET PayInput Module is Infoscore’s Data Entry function. PayInput allows information about the transaction or supporting documentation to be entered into customized fields for a specific account. Depending upon your requirements, all or any specific batches of checks can be routed to PayInput (unless not called for by the account file). Additionally, some batches that do not contain checks, such as accounts requiring Stop/Accept file processing or hard transaction balancing, may require Data Entry.

Hard transaction balancing means that a check must be deleted from the batch if the total dollar amount keyed from the backup is not equal to the dollar amount of the check. Also, Stop/Accept processing has the ability to delete transactions from the batch. In either of these cases, the Encode and Image Print processes run after PayInput is complete. Otherwise, Encode and Image Print can be done in parallel with Pay Input (Data Entry).
